Asian Marinated Shrimp
2 pounds of frozen, already cooked shrimp, thawed 2 garlic cloves finely minced 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 red bell pepper, diced 1/3 cup of Joe and Son’s Dark Toasted Sesame Oil* 1/3 cup of Joe and Son’s Honey Ginger White Balsamic* 1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce fresh cracked pepper
1 12 ounce bag of cabbage slaw
1/4 cup chopped peanuts unsalted or lightly salted Whisk vigorously or shake in a sealed jar the garlic, Sesame Oil, Honey Ginger White Balsamic, soy sauce, pepper, and parsley. In a bowl add shrimp, green onion, cilantro or parsley and red bell pepper. Pour dressing over shrimp mixture and fold to combine . Refrigerate for at least one hour. To serve, assemble cabbage slaw on a platter. Top with shrimp making sure to allow the marinade to dress the slaw. Garnish with chopped peanuts. *Try this same recipe with many of our top pairings. Simply eliminate the soy sauce. We like Coconut White Balsamic and Persian Lime Olive Oil!
