Old Fashion Cocktail with Balsamic

The Old Fashion cocktail was created in the early 1900s. It was called "old fashion" because it harked back the style of cocktails which were in vogue in the 1800s. We have substituted our Black Cherry for the usual dash of bitters with wonderful results

2 oz. of good Bourbon (like Rare Stash)

1 teaspoon sugar

3 dashes Black Cherry Dark Balsamic Vinegar

I slice of orange peel

1 Woodford Reserve Bourbon Cherry

In a rocks glass, muddle the sugar and the balsamic. Add a rocks ice cube or regular ice cubes. Pour over the Bourbon. Squeeze the oil from the orange peel over the drink and then drop it in. Garnish with the cherry.
